Announcement: Tarkett, a global leader in flooring and sports surfaces solutions, has completed the acquisition of Lexmark Carpet Mills

About +

Carpet isn’t merely a necessity; it’s a statement of what you represent. Of who you are. Of how you connect with the guests who will find themselves walking through your door.

… So where do you want to take them?

That’s where our designers come in. We understand carpet can metaphorically and literally be the fabric that pulls a space together. And our mission is to do just that with each design, with every inspiration.

The + in our name embodies the idea that there should always be a little something extra. Whether you want a subtle something to evoke a sense of comfort among grandeur, or something striking and assertive, Lexmark + Hospitality can bring your custom look to life.

Our + starts by indulging in the nuances, focusing on the little things that are so easy to overlook. We find our inspiration in the everyday, weaving it into our designs as you weave our flooring into your bigger picture. We focus only on what you do and ask ourselves how we can make your experience with us simple and seamless.

That’s our mission, our reason for being. That’s our + …

our difference — our nylon

Our most popular nylon colors are extruded, twisted, and heat-set in our very own plant — and under our rigid quality control procedures to monitor each step of the process.

Our state-of-the-art technology and Neumag extruder equipment combine nylon chips and color pigment, heat them into a liquid state, then force them through spinnerets and chill them into solid fibers.

… So what does that mean?

It means our fiber is dyed from the inside out. It means colors are locked in for fade resistance and easier stain removal.

And all of this translates into high performance commercial nylon that guarantees you’ll get the best carpet this industry can provide.

+ stands for sustainability

Using scientifically established standards, the Green Label Plus Program (developed by the Carpet and Rug Institute) symbolizes the carpet industry’s commitment to a better environment for living, working, learning, and healing.

That’s why all Lexmark + Hospitality carpet products have been certified: So you can be confident that all our carpets meet the most stringent criteria for low chemical emissions.

Just because we’re certified doesn’t mean we’re satisfied it’s enough. We constantly strive to find new ways to use our resources more efficiently to promote conservation and consumption reduction.

A decade of satisfaction,

or we'll fix it

Our indoor use carpet warranty means if your product is properly installed and maintained, but the surface pile in any given area is abrasively worn more than 10% within 10 years, we’ll personally pay to replace the area.

(Our warranty covers abrasive wear, not tears, pulls, cuts, or other damage due to improper installation or improper cleaning. Stairs are excluded from this offer.)

After 5 years, carpet replacement cost is pro-rated.

Carpet should be installed in accordance with the Carpet and Rug Institute’s standard CRI-104 and installed over manufacturer’s recommended pad. This warranty gives you specific legal rights.
